刘明，中国科学院院士，IEEE Fellow、发展中国家科学院院士，中国科学院微电子研究所研究员、中国科学院微电子器件与集成技术重点实验室主任，国家重大基础研究计划项目首席科学家，2008年国家杰出青年基金获得者，国家自然基金委创新群体负责人。
刘明院士长期从事微电子科学技术领域的研究，研究兴趣主要是存储器机理模型、材料结构、核心共性技术和芯片集成等。

Ming Liu is professor of the Institute of Microelectronic and director of the Key Laboratory of Microelectronic Devices & Integrated Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She is also academician of CAS and the World Academy of Sciences, IEEE /TWAS Fellow.
Ming Liu received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in semiconductor physics and device from Hefei Polytechnic University, Hefei, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronauts, China, in 1998. From 1998 to 1999, she was a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She joined the Institute of Microelectronics, CAS, in 2000. Her research interests are semiconductor materials, integrated circuit processing, nanofabrication, nano-electronics, molecular electronics, and non-volatile memory.
2019年7月13-14日，第二届国际柔性电子学术大会将在杭州举行，Ming Liu教授将作为特邀嘉宾出席本次大会，并在大会上作邀请报告。本届大会专注柔性电子的前沿领域，截止目前，除Ming Liu教授外，大会还邀请到了美国三院院士John A. Rogers教授、Takao Someya教授、英国剑桥大学教授George Malliaras等21位国内外顶级专家为大家带来前瞻性学术报告。
