On May 25, Binglin Gu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and former principal of Tsinghua University, visits the Institute of Flexible Electronics Technology of THU, Zhejiang. Professor Jian Wu and Professor Xi Chen from Tsinghua University accompanied the visit. Hupeng Hong, deputy mayor of Jiaxing, and Junbo Zhou, deputy head of Nanhu District, also accompanied the visit. Xue Feng, Dean of the Electrical and Electronics department, and Haige Zhang, Associate dean of the Electrical and Electronics department, attended the reception.
Academician Gu and his delegates visited the exhibition hall of the institute. The Head of the institute reported to Gu on their development model and research findings.
Academician Gu approved the development prospects and achievements of our institute, and he also put forward his hope. Additionally, Gu was concerned about the work conditions at the institute and he encouraged all staff to make persistent efforts to contribute more to the field.
